La collezione di opere “Le sirene di Ulisse” è un canto poetico dell’artista Benedetto Poma, il cui filo conduttore giunge a noi dal passato, ma si fa presente nella sua pittura. Dipinti che rivelano la sua completezza artistica perché, come ben sa fare Poma, si fanno sintesi fra pittura contemporanea, architetture senza tempo e cultura classica. Nei dipinti di questa collezione sono riportate le 19 gemme incise, databili dal V-IV sec. a.C sino al I sec. oggi custodite all’interno del Museo Mandralisca di Cefalù.

The collection of works "The sirens of Ulysses" is a poetic song by the artist Benedetto Poma, whose common thread comes to us from the past, but becomes present in his painting. Paintings that reveal its artistic completeness because, as Poma does well, they make a synthesis between contemporary painting, timeless architectures and classical culture. The paintings in this collection show the 19 engraved gems, dating from the 5th-4th cent. BC until the first century today kept in the Mandralisca Museum of Cefalù.
